K & O Photography
We are back! After a 2 year break, I am happy to announce that I am back. We are now located in The Woodlands/Magnolia (1 year break for our move) & we have a new name - K&O Photography. About the time we got settled and started thinking about booking more events, we had our first baby! Owen Patrick was born on July 31, 2013 and is the best thing EVER! I have spent the last year going crazy and chasing after a little boy. I am exhausted but wouldn't change it for the world. As you probably guess, K&O is my initial and my son's initial. If I was going to start booking events and shoots, I wanted to somehow incorporate him into the name. My style hasn't changed - lifestyle, candid photography - but the website has. I am SO excited to start booking and can't wait to see what the future holds!

DIY: Easy Spring Wreath
So it's starting to feel alot like Summer...hot, humid & sunny days. I spent my first Saturday by the pool this last weekend and loved it!! If only I wasn't so white...
Here's an easy, cheap DIY Summer wreath. I was in need of a new on so bad but HATE the fake flowered ones at the store. I decided to make a more "understated" one.
1. 18" wreath, 1 hydrangea stem, 2 feather accent stems, hot glue =$17.21 @ Michael's
2. Cut off all the stems, just leaving the feathers and hydrangea flowers
4. At the bottom (you pick the bottom) glue the feather in an "X" shape5. Glue the Hydrangea on top and you are done! Easy.
**This is what my door looked like before. Pathetic, right?
And my door after ........
